The main focus of winter garden maintenance is to do a good job in clearing the garden and preventing cold and freezing. Some frequently used garden machines have also entered a "dormant period" at this time. In order to avoid the situation that they cannot be used normally in the coming year, maintenance measures must be taken before they are put into storage for winter break, such as lawn mower, cutter, blower, micro tiller, hedge trimmer, water pump, some tools, etc, iron products should be prevented from rusting, wood products should be prevented from mildew, colloid products should be prevented from aging, electric products should be prevented from being affected with moisture, etc. As for how to maintain machinery before it is put into storage through winter, let's take a look at it together. This is also an important work as garden maintenance and management.
Two-stroke engine (e. g. hedge trimmer, brush cutter, chain saw, etc.)
1. Before the engine is stored in the warehouse, first clean up the debris on the body, drain the mixed fuel in the fuel tank, and start the machine to burn up the fuel in the carburetor;
2. Clean the air filter. If it is damaged or adsorbed dust, replace it with a new one and install it again;
3. Remove the spark plug, add 1-2ml two-stroke engine oil into the cylinder, gently pull the starter 2-3 times, install the spark plug, and then turn the piston to the top dead center compression position;
4. Clean up the working rod and working head of the brush cutter, fill the gear box of the working head with high-speed butter, if there is a blade, wipe a little oil on the surface of the blade to prevent rust;
5. Clean the blade of the hedge trimmer and wipe it with oil, add high-speed butter to the gear box, and check that each part is damaged and replaced in time;
6. Check and clean the sawdust on the surface of the guide plate and the groove of the guide plate before storing the chain saw. Point a few drops of oil on the gear plate for rust prevention. Rub the chain, brush the oil, and install the safety cover on the machine;
7. After the maintenance is completed, the above instruments can be put into storage and preserved to keep the surrounding environment clean and dry.
Four-stroke engine (e. g. lawn mower, brush cutter, etc.)
1. Drain the fuel in the fuel tank and start the engine until it stops due to fuel exhaustion;
2. In the hot engine state that has just been shut down, first release the oil in the engine, so as to ensure that the oil is quickly and thoroughly discharged, and then add new oil to the appropriate scale;
3. Remove the spark plug, drop 5-10ml of engine oil into the cylinder, rotate the crankshaft several times, install the spark plug, and turn the piston to the compression top dead center position;
4. Clean the air filter. If it is damaged or cannot be used, replace it in time and reinstall it. Clean the dust and dust around the cutter head, body, cylinder body and cylinder head heat sink, air deflector, net cover and muffler Grass;
5. After the maintenance is completed, the above instruments can be put into storage and preserved to keep the surrounding environment clean and dry.
Water pump, pesticide sprayer
1. Drain the fuel in the fuel tank and start the engine until it stops due to fuel exhaustion;
2. In the hot engine state, first release the oil in the engine, and then place the machine horizontally and add new oil to the appropriate scale;
3. Remove the spark plug, drop 5-10ml of engine oil into the cylinder, rotate the crankshaft several times, install the spark plug, turn the piston to the compression top dead center position, and clean the air filter. If it is damaged or cannot be used, it should be timely Replace it with a new one and reinstall it;
4. Clean up the dust around the body, cylinder body surface and cylinder head heat sink, air deflector, net cover and muffler;
5. Discharge the water in the pump body and the medicine box of the dispensing machine, unscrew all the connecting joints on the medicine pump, and drain the residual medicine in the medicine pump body to prevent the pump body from freezing and cracking if the temperature is too low;
6, after maintenance can be stored, keep the surrounding environment clean and dry.
Electric Products
1. Take out the battery from the machine, clean the surface of the body, the net cover and the dust around it, clean the blades and scissors, apply engine oil to prevent rust, and add grease to the gear box;
2. Lithium batteries should be charged with 50%-80% of the electricity for a long time, and stored in a dry and cool environment, and charged every 3 months to prevent the battery from being too low due to self-discharge for too long, resulting in irreversible capacity loss. It is recommended to store the battery in a dry environment of 0 ℃-20 ℃ during storage;
3. Do not mix the battery with metal objects, so as to avoid metal objects touching the positive and negative poles of the battery, causing short circuit, damaging the battery and even causing danger.
